Stowe School

Joyner Group were appointed by Stepnell Construction to carry out the external wall insulation and render package to a new boarding house at Stowe School, Buckingham.

The architect had designed dramatic curves around the building which was not able to be achieved with using a standard mineral fibre insulation board.

Joyner Group used lamella mineral fibre insulation which is in smaller size boards and also have the fibres laid the opposite way to standard insulation. This enabled Joyner Group to rasp back the mineral fibre insulation to a neat radius and the end product speaks for itself.

A total of 700m2 of A1 non-combustible Permarock external wall insulation and render installed comprising of 120mm mineral fibre insulation to a very high standard and resulting in a very satisfied client.
